Trying to make a cool and effective deck using very budget cards. Any ideas on commanders, and potential cards?
What's your budget? And what kind of deck are you looking to play?
From my experience {rakka mar} makes a great general for a budget player

A 100 dollar deck is attainable, but preferably 80
Yeah something mono is best and red is usually pretty cheap in that area or green.

Very true. Big green fatties are in no short supply, green has lots of ramp to make them viable as a deck, and {Yeva, Nature's Herald} does a mighty fine job of heading that deck. And none of those cards are tough on the wallet.
