Title: Seance/populate question
Post by: TezzereT on July 03, 2013, 05:11:35 PM
If I put a creature token into play with {seance} and populate the creature token, does it still die at next end step, or stay in play? Not sure if the seance resolution gets tacked on to the creature as an ability or if it just copies the standard creature token and it just destroys the first token that comes in to play

The token created by {Seance} will die, the populated token however gets to stay.

Keep in mind though populating and duplicating are different. {Parallel lives} for instance will copy everything about that token when it is created including the fact you have to get rid of it later.

So in that regard, the token that was populated would trigger and those tokens would be fine, right?
