{niv-mizzet, the firemind} and {curiosity}. Draw your deck and deal that much damage divided any way you choose between any creatures or players.

Hey!  That was my deck!  It's not consistent enough.  It would pound face 2 rounds then fail 2 rounds.

I think it's very consistent given the cards that can be run with it.

what about putting cipher cards on it?

Yea! You play a cipher card, he gets the boost, then you attack, and get the cipher card again...would he boost again? Probably not

He would get the boost, however, it will take effect after the combat damage step. The cipher card can't be cast until combat damage takes place, so the instant/sorcery cast won't take place til after.

Still. Cipher seems like an interesting option for him

Cipher would only be good here if he becomes unblockable or if you wanted to {fling him}.

Or even {izzet guildmage} + {desperate ritual} + {lava spike}. I'm sure you guys know this combo = infinite damage, however you will need 5 mana to cast lava spike spliced onto desperate rit and copy with guildmage

 {Worldfire} +  {Snapcaster Mage} into burn, but good luck having mana for that, unless u were able to drop {omniscience} lol could happen in UR control I suppose...

not sure it will work. Could work if you had {rift bolt} suspended before casting {world fire}

If you have the mana (maybe aided by {Goblin electromancer}-type effects), {Shock} opponent, respond with shock on the stack with {Quicken}, then once quicken resolves, flash {Worldfire}. Worldfire resolves first, then shock finishes the game.

Wow! That's a nasty combo, I can't believe I never thought of that.

 {Illusionist's Bracers} attached to  {Guttersnipe} for 4 damage per instant / sorcery. Or cipher a spell onto  {Nivmagus Elemental} and keep exiling the copies for boosting elemental.

{Illusionist's Bracers} says whenever an ability is activated.  {Guttersnipe}'s ability is a triggered ability, so it would not be doubled.

So, how about {blistercoil weird} + {paradise mantle} + {hidden strings} + {strionic resonator}.  I think I prefer two cards to a bunch of can trips.  But load up on {artful dodge} and such of course. Sorry, forgot {fling}.
