Post your ideas for abilities you would like to see in Magic here.
I couldn't think of a name yet, but it would be like:
"When this creature enters the battlefield, if it is the only creature you control, you may return it to your hand."
And then the creature would have some "When this creature enters the battlefield" ability

Already a mechanic from eldrazi block
The name that is
What about 'flashback' I don't think they used that name yet. Jk how about 'trepidation'? Or maybe 'recall'
Flashback is an ability already see cards such as {Alter Reality} {Cackling Counterpart}

I think he was being sarcastic.
Can't tell. It's a forum :/ if he was then I seem foolish if not. Well I seem helpful? Yay? Idk....
Why would you make a mechanic that can only go in a spell blitz deck anyway? Just wondering
Blaze {R}{R}{R}{T} the next time an instant or sorcery spell yew control would deal damage, it deals twice that damage instead.
Feint {0}{W} - you may remove this creature from combat by paying its Feint cost. If you do, it deals 1 damage to the defending player. Activate this ability only if this creature is attacking, before damage.

its a mechanic that favors playing with very few creatures, or going to great lengths to make sure that its the only creature on the battlefield
Don't know about a name but : if you control two or more of the same creature they combined into one creature with x/x x being the power of the creatures added together
Can yew say OP?
yes, OP. see? ;)
😱
OMFG HOW DID YEW DO THAT
with SCIENCE
The science scythe!
Scout (whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player search your library for a basic land card and put it into play tapped)
Either that or you get to look at someone's hand
Phsyco
when this creature deals combat damage, you may have it deal twice that damage instead, then sacrifice it.
insatiable thirst
if this creature dealed combat damage on your turn, put a +1/+1 counter on it. if it delt no combat damage on your turn, put a -1/-1 counter on it, this creature's toughness can not be reduced to lower than 1 by -1/-1 counters

With psycho it can get op fast if you could give that ability to spark trooper or maybe not I could be wrong
psyco would likely be reserved for creatures 1/1 to 3/3, anything bigger would be a rare or mythic most likely
That's true and psycho type spells would have to cost a little more or it could get crazy

Insatiable thirst means it's a perfect blocker against infect decks.
Twisted Fate
Counter all lethal damage dealt to you and creatures you control this turn
Deal damage equal to the damage that would have been done to you this turn to target opponent and all creatures they control.
This isn't really an ability more of its own card but I think it's interesting.
It could be like the foreshadow ability from old ravnica
Do you mean forecast?
What's that? I wasn't playing back then.
702.55a (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=702.55a): A forecast ability is a special kind of activated ability that can be activated only from a player's hand. It's written "Forecast -- [Activated ability]."
702.55b (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=702.55b): A forecast ability may be activated only during the upkeep step of the card's owner and only once each turn. The controller of the forecast ability reveals the card with that ability from his or her hand as the ability is activated. That player plays with that card revealed in his or her hand until it leaves the player's hand or until a step or phase that isn't an upkeep step begins, whichever comes first.
{Govern the Guildless} is a good example of how it's useful.
