Title: eye of the storn and storm
Post by: Wackaman9001 on July 01, 2013, 08:29:34 PM
So I'm building a terrible deck around {eye of the storm} and was wondering how storm stuff ala {grapeshot} will interact with it, anyone know?

The spells cast by eye of the storm will go toward the storm count.

Your opponent can copy the spells too. Be sure you throw in lots of cheap spells in your deck souly to trigger it like {index}

Ok so if the storm has in it say 2 {shock}s and I cast {grapeshot} will storm count be 2 or 3?

Storm count would be 2. You'd copy it twice, resulting in 3 {Grapeshot}s total.

Storm count would be 3 because it is exiled before the count is checked for copying.  You'd copy it 3 times putting 3 {Grapeshot}s onto the stack, because the original is exiled.
