Zed can be tough to make suggestions for, since you can go so many ways with him.

One option is to load up on global effects like {Howling Mine} where it doesn't matter who controls the actual card, and {donate} as many of those global effects as possible to coax as much card draw from {Zedruu the Greathearted} as possible.

Another option is to load up on spells with 'bad' effects while they are on the battlefield. {Illusions of Grandeur} is a perfect example. You cast them, then give them away, and your opponent must suffer the negative effects.

Most Zedruu deck have combos as their win conditions. Because card draw from Zed gives you a much higher chance of drawing combo pieces, and you typically tend to pose less of a threat on the board than an aggressive deck, you can stay quiet and surprise foes with a deadly sudden combo. {Insurrection} is a staple in Zed decks. But as to any other win conditions? Well, that's up to you!

Totally a fun commander!  I would recommend adding things like  {Spellbook} and  {Reliquary Tower} to keep all the goodies you draw. Also preventive enchantments like {Inner Sanctum} are also good to have around!  Happy building!

It will phase the lands of the chosen type that every player controls, no matter who controls it. So if you choose forests for example, all forests have phasing for every player. If you donate it to another player, all forests still have phasing, and you get to draw a card from Zedruu's trigger ;)

Edit: oh, almost forgot! {Homeward Path} is a good idea in this deck, too (and pretty much only in this deck lol)
