Can we have multiple folders for messages? My inbox gets very cluttered even deleting supposedly irreverent messages. There have been many times when I wish I had access to an old message, but deleted it trying to keep organized so I didn't lose all of my messages in the clutter.

If you want to check the history of messages you have had with a certain user, you can click on that user and then click on the "Messages (Beta)" button.
It'll show you all the messages you have exchanged, even the ones you deleted from your inbox. And the good thing is that you'll see both ends of the conversation.
I think it's a pretty useful feature of Gathering...
