{Artificial evolution} and {Turntimber Ranger}, change name wolf to ally and BAM whenever an ally enters the field put a 2/2 ally on the field. Can I cast artificial evolution on Turntimber Ranger while it is still a spell so that Turntimber Ranger coming onto the battlefield triggers the infinite combo? Or will I need to cast another ally?
This works! However, it technically isn't infinite. Since it says "you may" put a token into play, you do have to choose a number. Any number you want, but a number nonetheless.
Even better so you get to use them without ending in a tie. Can I trigger it with Turntimber Ranger thoug?

Absolutely! All you need is the two cards mentioned above. No additional Allies are necessary. The new Ally (previously Wolf) token will keep triggering the Ranger.
Oh, and I modified your OP with curly brackets to link cards. It's a useful tool, so everyone knows what cards you're talking about.
Yeay, limitless 2 card combo that doesn't require an ally deck. P.S. these two cards are inexpensive which is kick@ss.
Nice
