Title: Restoration Angel + Huntmaster of the Fells
Post by: Tonygrabowski4 on June 25, 2013, 06:14:20 PM
{Huntmaster of the Fells} on the board.  My oppenent's turn.  No spells were cast. During my upkeep I transform  {Huntmaster of the Fells}.  On my turn I play  {Restoration Angel} targeting my {Ravager of the Fells}.  Does he return to the battlefield as {Ravager of the Fells} or  {Huntmaster of the Fells}?

To further elaborate, a transforming / flip card will always enter the battlefield as a new object, as if it were just cast, sunny-side-up. No matter why they entered, how they entered, what they were like when they left, or what made them leave and re-enter. Always enter the battlefield as a new object.

I think it would return just as how it was before being exiled.

110.6b (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=110.6b): Permanents enter the battlefield untapped, unflipped, face up, and phased in unless a spell or ability says otherwise.
