It doesn't let me exit imtg because the search bar at the tip.
Hit Cancel.
Won't let me.
If you're on the current version, hit cancel. If on an earlier version, hitting the search button again will exit out of the search function.
Start typing in the search bar and then cancel.

Force closing the app and restarting should do the trick, if nothing else.
Putting your cursor (so to say) in the search bar allows you to cancel again if the keyboard went away.
