Does anybody know a good way to combat a mono green Eldrazi deck full of {Elvish Piper} and {Quicksilver Amulet}?
Good old {Path to Exile} stops most Eldrazi for a measly 1 mana, and {Oblivion Ring} takes care of Emrakul.
Good news about them using Piper and Amulet to put Eldrazi on the field is that they aren't casting them, so {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}'s extra turn trigger won't happen (or {Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre}'s destroy permanent, or {Kozilek, Butcher of Truths}' draw 4) which gives you a bit of a buffer zone to deal with them.
He usually has a piper and a Eldrazi in his opening hand so by turn 4 there's a Eldrazi annihalating my field!

Not really, with 8 cards all doing the same thing it's not hard to guarantee having one of them in your first 10-11 cards drawn.

Elvish piper is also an easy target for removal ({Lightning Bolt} more than does the trick for 1 mana). The amulet can be removed almost as easily with {Ancient Grudge} type spells
The key to beating an Eldrazi deck boils down to tempo efficiency. You must use low mana burn put a stop to what lets him play his spells so quickly. Wouldn't you spend 1/2 of your turn if you knew it cost your opponent 1-6 turns as a result?

It's a terrible way of stopping {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}, but I was devastated when I dropped Emmy before realizing my opponent had a {Trip Noose} laying in wait :P

I love this! My magic buddy plays a nasty eldrazitron deck that I have a hard time dealing with. I'm building an artifact Eldrazi buster deck right away.
Lol I'm just glad he didn't know about {Brittle Effigy} :P
