I have given up on my tournament deck (which revolve around {nivix cyclops} {armed dangerous} {artful dodge}). I don't want to work on gettingn a lot f innistrad cards and then have it rotate, so which deck should I go with? I'm thinking a version of esper control without the snapcasters.
Play legacy
If you like winning and having fun, try building a naya zoo deck. Basically a {G}{W}{R} deck that utilizes creatures that help you to gain tempo. It can also run plainswalkers though...from {Domri Rade} to {Garruk, Primal Hunter}...and if you are in modern, {Ajani Vengeant}. Right now "Aristocrats" looks like it is doing better than naya, but essentially the whole deck is rotating soon. Naya will still be strong, because it is not a theme deck like the aristocrats. Also, you get the benefit of having 2 new plainswalkers coming out in your colors soon! ;)
Just look at decks on TCGplayer if thats what youre wanting.
Really depends on what you want out of mtg and how much money you have to put in a deck.
Tell us your price range and player type and we'll hook you up with the perfect deck for you.
I feel the same way about decks, I want my own concept to play well and be effective. I found it best to find one card that you really enjoy playing or think with the right cards built around it it will work.
Mine was {Notion Thief}, I used the {Whispering Madness} combo with him in my BUG design and I've placed in the top 3 the last 4 FNM's with it, I really dislike people that just throw together a net deck list and brag about their deck, makes magic much more fun

How do you win?
Swing in for three every turn with a {Notion Thief} or two

It's a control BUG deck and when I get the combo they don't have a hand and I have a hand full of answers.
Naya destroys the aristocrats with pillar flame.... And also I there is a 3 mana 3
Damage to creature or player that exiles
Naya is tough to beat right now so if you want to go with pure power, I would go that direction. Or just go Boros. These colors are pretty simple to win with right now, though they may fail to be"fun".
