All combat damage dealt to  {Fog Bank} is void therefore whatever fog bank blocks, fog bank absorbs it.

However when trample comes into play, say from a  {Primeval Titan} the attacking player only needs to assign lethal damage to blocking creatures.

When primeval Titan is blocked by fog, 2 damage needs to be assigned to the fog bank, accounting for lethal damage (fog bank is not destroyed however because combat damage is null) and 4 damage goes thru to the player

How would this be applied to say a  {Mirran Crusader} blocking the Titan?

Same deal. It would need to only assign what would be lethal damage (2 in this case), and the rest goes to the defending player.
