Now I would love to know, who do you think is a good/fun commander to use. I really like:
1. Jhoira: she seems like a really fun commander to build around!
2. Animar: you can make some nasty combos with this guy!
3. Progenitus: he is just really fun so you can do funny things like door to nothingness ;)

Scion or Cromat are better 5 colors, Cromat especially if you're not running creatures mainly
Currently I have a {Trostani} edh deck that is super fun but {Kresh the Bloodbraided} will always have a special spot in my heart being he was my first commander I also have a {Mikaeus the Unhallowed} combo deck that I think is insanely fun but my edh group hates it
I primarily run my {Riku of Two Reflections}, tons of fun and very competitive.
I also have:
{Melek, Izzet Paragon} that was fun to build, including many things people never expect to be in an edh deck
{Uril, the Miststalker} - naya hexproof voltron
{Kresh the Bloodbraided} - June reanimator voltron
{Nicol Bolas} - creatureless control
{Sen Triplets} - esper control (pillow fort)
{Wort, Boggart Auntie} - very fun fast paced tribal goblin fun
{Karador, Ghost Chieftain} - reanimator shenanagins
{Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts} - I call this the "crazy girlfriend" deck, death and taxes lol
There are a ton of options, but I say run the deck that makes you happy.
avoid net.decking as much as possible, because creativity is king in edh. You will almost always be happier winning with a deck you 100% custom crafted.

Oh can we compare deck lists with riku :) he is by far my favorite... Izzet, Simic and Gruul... A crazy combination we lovingly call RUG ... Lol
My commander decks are {The Mimeoplasm} {Zur the Enchanter} and {Merieke Ri Berit}. I like BUG colors but esper control is just so boss.
Currently running progenitus but also have a {teferi, mage of zhalfir} and {trostani, selesnyas voice}, but I love my current pet project of a {jor kadeen the prevailer} combo deck
{Omnath, Locus of Mana} was my first commander that i still use today. Love powering things out with extreme consistancy.
{Oona, Queen of the Fae} or really any esper or dimir commander makes for great artifact fun.
I recently constructed a comboless {Animar, Soul of Elements} from spare cards. It feels a lot like my omnath with more options.

{Teysa, envoy of ghosts} is one commander I run and she is sic! Costs to get her out but with a white black combo you can control alot of your opponents creature flow etc.
{Braids, Conjurer Adept} isn't a popular one but my turn 3 {Blightsteel Colossus} is crazy.
Shes so good.
One of my favourite decks is {vish kal, blood arbiter}, if you can get him out swinging, it's game over. Use the time properly before you get him out by building resources, token production I find is key, the sac a few creatures to pump him up and go for the jugular

yea it's a troll deck I run a lot of bounce creature cards like {Man-o'-War} in the deck.

I just made this deck a couple of weeks ago and it is SICK in 1v1
{borborygmos enraged} I went LD but if u can get the synergy right he is a excellent commander

Making a post about {Maraxus of Keld} in another thread made me remember an EDH deck based I had once with him as Commander. A deck for the fun of it involving taking control of as much as you can just to swing with him. It was silly and enjoyable but rarely came off, however, today's selection of {Act of Treason} style things in red, I might give it another crack!

I would go with {krenko mob boss} with the {act of treason} style. Alot of cheap ways to get out goblins and would just add to maraxus. Another angle to consider :)

{Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind} - card draw combo
{Tajic, Blade of the Leigion} - soldier tribal
{Animar, Soul of Elements} - Gruul & Simic +1/+1 counter beat down
{Ghave, Guru of Spores} - Fungi and lots of saproling tokens
{Sharuum the Hegemon} - Artifact overload. Only a few sorceries / instants & basic lands aren't artifacts
{The Mimeoplasm} - zombie tribal
