Title: Wild pair
Post by: Imdowd80 on March 02, 2012, 04:10:08 AM
Okay I was playing my Sliver deck with automated atamotons (sp) out buffing my slivers and my other +1/1 sliver out and then played {wild pair}and a sliver for 2/2 then searched for a 2/2 creature to put into play.  My friend said that I should have to look for a 4/4 creature because that's what entered the BF. so my question is what triggers first {wild pair} or the buffs for the sliver?

He is right because if there are buff spells on the field then whenever a creature enters the battle it enters with the buff spells on it.

Ex: It's kinda like having {honor of the pure} with {mentor of the meek} and if you drop a 2/2 creature it enters as a 3/3 and doesn't trigger mentors ability..

I hope that explains it

But if I played a 2/2 creature, that gets bumped. Wouldn't grabbing another 2/2 creature get the same bump and be considered the same?

While its in your library, it's still a 2/2. It doesn't become a 3/3 until it hits play.
