Alright guys look. I know that I have an extremely low karma score, and that many people on here are not too fond of me. But I really do value being able to participate in an MTG online community such as this one, and that is why I want to try and help people out when I can.
The user named in the title of this thread is NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Though I haven't been ripped off by him, based on many speculations (that I will list below), I know for a fact he is not a trustworthy user here in the gathering, and I would personally like him to be banned before someone really gets screwed over (like I almost did, and apparently a couple other users in the past).
So a few days ago this user messaged me saying "I have 3 liliana of the veil for trade". So after much negotiation, we worked out a trade for about $150 of cards. I asked him if he would be okay with sending at the same time (seeing as he had some positive feedback, and I have had plenty of that myself as a trader). He instantly agreed, so we decided we'd each send out the next day. It wasn't until later that evening, that I noticed his name on the untrustworthy users list, and a couple comments about him ripping off another user. After seeing this, I explained the situation to him, telling him that I still want to make the trade, but because of what I saw he would have to send first, or we could trade using a middle-man here in the gathering. It has now been 2 days, and I haven't had a single reply, although this user has been very active in this time.
So now I will present a list of reasons as to why you SHOULD NOT trade with All mana mania, and why I believe he should just be banned.
1. He came out of nowhere claiming to have 3 {liliana of the veil}, although they are not in his trade binder, and he has not mentioned them to anyone in the gathering previously.
2. He wanted a very obscure list of cards from me, being some of the most valuable cards I have to my name. {flooded strand}, {huntmaster of the fells}, {Sphinx's Revelation}.
3. He claimed that he really needed these cards right away, even though they are all completely unrelated and obviously not for any deck that I have ever heard of.
4. He was instantly okay with sending at the same time, not even hesitating at the fact that this was a VERY high value trade with a user that has not been around long, and has -20 karma.
5. Other users have had problems with him, and after seeing that all of my suspicions were instantly confirmed.
6. Although he was replying to every one of my messages within a few minutes, expressing much interest in making this trade with me, as soon as I explained the situation to him (and still offered to make the trade, just through other means) I never heard from again, although he was still quite active here on the gathering.
This is why I believe this user is absolutely UNTRUSTWORTHY. Those of you who may disagree with me can talk all day about how I don't have any hard evidence of him being untrustworthy, but in some cases you just don't need hard evidence to spot a criminal in the works. I didn't go out of way writing this to single out a specific user and make you all hate him, I went out of my to write this because I don't want anyone to fall victim to the schemes of an untrustworthy user.
Hope this will be helpful to some, if not all of you.
There are a number of traders on imtg that I would not consider "untrustworthy", but would never agree to make a trade with unless they send first. I call them "fishies". They haven't actually stolen any cards from anyone, but I wouldn't put it past them. I advise all users to beware of the "fishies".

I had a sketchy trade with him before, but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.
He's been on the mod's radar before. From our understanding, his brother has gotten onto his account before and made some trades that All-Mana himself had nothing to do with. This may be the case in this situation. We won't know until he comes here and defends himself.

But putting me out in public for saying I'm untrustworthy for not responding to your pm's? That is rediculous. Ok yes, I have screwed up big time with bozo, I'm and truthfully sorry. We made a trade, also that you agreed to send first on for my dark confidant. There were a lot of cards that I needed for my new edh deck in the trade! I was just wondering if you sent out yet or not because I too have gotten no reply.

There is no excuse for screwing over another user, I don't care how many times you try to apologize, in the end all you are doing is trying to make yourself look better to the users of this community so that you can gain trust back and screw someone over again later down the road. If this were all true, you would have had no problem simply messaging me back and telling me so, especially when I was super polite in explaining the situation to you and trying to work out a solution.
If you people insist on trading with this guy, just make sure to NEVER send first, or even at the same time. Let him always send first.
To be honest I've never traded with him but the one time really did try to he just kept running me around in circles saying I have the cards or I have to get the cards from my brother and such I finally just got tired of it and stopped trying to trade with him I even forewarned him that this would happen if he continued doing things like that. I can't say if he's trusted or not but definitely a fishy!
Very fishy. And based on the fact that he has ripped people off in the past (and didn't attempt to give a sincere apology until he was called out here), I would certainly be very cautious if you are making a trade with him. Make him send first!

Apparently I get nothing but more negative karma, YAYYYYYY!!!!! Just goes to show that trying to help others almost never does any good for you. Why I wasted my time trying to do so, I guess I'll never know.
