Title: Question on Sportsmanship
Post by: loop-s-pool on March 02, 2012, 12:26:21 AM
I had to drop a game because of a 7 mile bike ride ahead of me and it was getting late and after I won he saw me leaving and asked why I didn't just let him have the win. Was I in the wrong here by not giving him the win? I mean it's fun and all but I believe he should have only gotten ranked up in the pairings if he earned it.

Improperly determining a winner is subject to disqualification in REL tourney rules.  You could be found in violation for giving away a win.  You made the right choice.   :)

Alright good to hear. I honestly play for fun and winning is a ton more fun than losing for me but still I like to keep it real and not be a jerkface about every little thing, that is of course until someone takes my deck and bridge shuffles it.

I HATE that!!!😡😡😡
I don't even like it when players shuffle my cards. If you don't think I randomized it enough, I'll shuffle more. Just cut the damn thing and let's play. Grr!

Oh I could not agree more.  And that guy sounds like a douche Loop so don't have pity or feel bad.  I don't give a free pass and I don't expect one.  I enjoy this game soooooo much but I have to think like a robot, for a lack of a better term, when I play.  I may be stomping my opponent and the human side of me thinks maybe I won't attack this round and give him a chance....but then the robot kicks in and says DESTROY❕
