Post by: Silent1236 on June 09, 2013, 09:04:54 PM
Welcome to the Gathering section of iMtG!  This is where you can discuss all things, Magic-related or not, with other iMtG users!  But!  Before you go wild posting all your thoughts in all the boards, let me show you around so you don't post things where they aren't supposed to go!  Oh, and don't forget to read through iMtG Law (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=160.0) first!

Decks (Magic The Gathering)

These boards are pretty self-explanatory.  Standard decks go under standard, modern decks under modern, etc.  If you don't know what the difference between the deck types is, there is a stickied post titled "(Format) Deck Construction" in each board that will tell you what sets are allowed, if there is a ban list, what is on the potential ban list, and so on.  Casual is the exception.  If you build a fun deck, but don't think it is competitive or just plan on having a little fun, post it under casual.

Remember, the easiest way to build a deck is to create it in Deck Builder on the iMtG main menu, tap on "Tools," and hit "Gathering."  Make sure you've got the right format selected!!
