People may value their cards however they please, you may not value them that way so you can attempt to barter or pass. Ral Zarek is about $16.50. Those shock lands are $8.50 Ish a piece. At most he's asking for $1-2 over the value of Ral. He's not making any absurd request, and thus he got the trade he wanted.

potticus you clearly didn't read what he or I said... he said he wanted RAVNICA block shocks and declined mine which are the 8.50 versions... he wanted the $20 versions... it IS absolutely an absurd evaluation... ral zarek is now nor never was worth $40...
