Title: Steal a creature
Post by: 5/9 Turtle on June 06, 2013, 08:01:24 PM
Say I have  {Ulvenwald Tracker} out and my opponent has  {Withengar Unbound} and I play  {Traitorous Blood} and I steal {Withengar Unbound} then I play  {Fiend Hunter} and I use {Ulvenwald Tracker} and a 3/3 beast to fight the  {Fiend Hunter}  would I get to keep good old  {Withengar Unbound}, because it would be treated as a brand new creature

No, you won't. Read  fiend hunter: it says return the creature under its owner's control. Your opponent owns the withengar, even if you control it. It goes back under opponent's control

Plus if you exile withen, he comes back as  {Elbrus, the Binding Blade} when fiend hunter dies
