Title: What's with this

Anyone have any idea as to why  {Mountain} from Arabian Nights are worth nearly $50?! Just seems bizzare.

Mountain was double printed in the set I believe, in the rare spot. Makes it worth more.

So it's worth more because of a misprint?

I think all Arabian Nights rares got put on the Reserve List also. I don't know if Mountain ended up being one of them, but out of all cards ever printed - {Mountain} has been printed most because of the Arabian Nights thing.

The Arabian Nights was supposed to be stand alone apart from The Gathering. Was to be printed with a pinkish back, and even talk of adding yellow to the wheel, this needed the inclusion of basic lands. Just before print they changed their minds, due to outrage from the fans, thus negating the needs for basics, so they took them out.
Except Mountain was missed on a common sheet. The only basic in Arabian nights.
