Title: Ascetic tibalt
Post by: Redrighthand on June 04, 2013, 08:38:32 PM
Would  {Asceticism} stop  {Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded}'s -6 power?

His third ability is pretty neat; he does not even target players! Just say "all creatures are MINE!!!!!"

Oh I hate Tibalt so much! He is specifically why I need to have Dreadbore around.

I had to ask to confirm my win in a three player game. My opponent had {Warstorm Surge} and  {Asceticism} in play when he brought out a  {Thromok the Insatiable} as a 100/100. He used the warstorm trigger to kill the other player, passed the turn to me and I used  {Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded}'s -6 to kill him with his own monster.

Then I laughed and laughed and laughed.

The utility of {homeward path} becomes more and more obvious with each passing set...lol
