I been toying with the idea of using {worldslayer} and {worldgorger dragon} but with the mana cost being so high how can I use them effectively to board wipe my opponent while removing my board from play then returning them back to play
This would be hilarious in edh!!
{minion reflector} would make it crAzy!
{Worldgorger Dragon} is banned in EDH
Ahhhhh, it is, indeed.
This wouldn't work anyway, {Worldslayer} would be exiled with all your other permanents when the dragon etb
Edit: unless you can temporarily remove it from the game
Seems like there are a few "exile target permanent; when this permanent LTB - return target permanent to the battle"
So it's not impossible to get a mean combo going
It would be impossible to get that combo out. If worldslayer were already out, it would leave upon the dragon entering. And you wouldn't be able to cast worldslayer after the dragon because you'd have no mana. Cool idea though.
Well with mana burn not being a factor anymore, one could fill their mana pool up before destroying everything
{Helvault} !
Unless I'm mistaken {Helvault} specifies that it must go to the graveyard in order to return the permanents
Worldslayer destroys all permanents, therefore helvault would be destroyed and land in the graveyard, boom anything you exiled before helvault was destroyed should be back in the field.
I would throw some faiths rewards in a deck with this combo inside also

But worldslayer is exiled using helvault when the dragon etb and exiles everything

Helvault can't target worldslayer so it would have to be the other way around. So creature goes
{oblivion ring} over {helvault} make it work

We're not using the exiled dragon in this case
It's simply an answer to a board wipe with Worldslayer so that you can at least have the advantage with a powerful creature.
Ah I see
Opponent plays first (if I'm right you'd need a first turn draw.
Turn 1 -mountain {wild cantor}
Turn 2 - land swing then sac cantor {Jhoira of the Ghitu}
Turn 3 - land swing Jhoira {desperate ritual} suspend {worldslayer} & {Worldgorger Dragon} &{lotus bloom}
Turn 4 - land {Geosurge} {Rift Elemental} use his ability to remove 2 from the dragon and 1 from the sword.
Turn 5 - dragon arrives. Land
Turn 6 - land. Lotus bloom arrives. Sac bloom. sword arrives. Equip. Swing.
Turn 7 - you're back at turn 4 (ish) wondering why you did this crazy combo... Maybe suspend whatever you draw. Use elemental's ability to bring it back in and bump his attack to 9. Swing with him and Jhoira.
Terrible win condition? absolutely. Laughably unlikely? Yes. Fun to try? You bet!
Edit: I just realized this wasn't supposed to be in modern format what with the gorger dragon.
That opens this up for some ridiculous legacy!

Not true.

Click the deck construction link under rules.
Good eye! It is not on the banned list.
Thanks, I actually have used {Worldgorger Dragon} with {Riku of Two Reflections} as my commander... Placed on the stack correctly makes infinite mana/dragons :)
