I felt I needed to make a thread for people who were stuck, wanted to discuss the game, etc.
I played on PS3, stopped when the lag/DLC fiasco got bad around September of last year.
Thanks whoever put possible spoilers

I never really had the time to enjoy the game when i first got it, however recently I have been playing it and realizing how much I was missing. I play on Xbox 360 amd am currently doing a no magic challenge.
Every elder scrolls character I have made has been prodominently magic based. This time through I am using daggers and bows mostly. I have allowed myself restoration magic because I find potion making annoying, aside from that the only magic I have cast is a flame atranarch to get into the college of winterhold to learn better enchanting for my bow and daggers. This challenge is not hard by any means, it is really fun though to playthe game in a different way.
I found out I can 1HKO trolls with a sneak attack dagger which is awesome because I dont have the damage output to fight one outright yet.
So I was one of thoughts who played it a tOn and I mean a ton I had a Mage a archer an allusion assassin a warrior a conjuror and finally a vampire illusion mage/assassin which is my favorite one
3 of them are lvl81 but I just use the skills I need now
But as you can see I was really addicted
Try the pick up chalange what you do I'd pick up everything you see even flowers you pass by and you can't drop anything the only way to get rid of stuff is to sell it
It's so much fun barly moving at all
I've seen no playthroughs or anything, but im a huge noob. I'm like lvl 3 and tried to take on a frost troll lol. I still only have like an imperial sword
At Bleak Falls Barrow... that's a big spider 😳

Kaleo, I'm your skyrim polar opposite. I've only played archer, rouge, alchemists. Funny you should mention your self inflicted challenge. I have been thinking of trying a magic or bruiser character since I've never experienced those facets of gameplay in an elder scrolls game.
Threadsurrection! I obsessed over Skyrim for months when I first got it, then took a three month break and started it again. About a month and a half ago I quit it to play Fallout 3. Now that I'm finished with that, I'm tackling Oblivion when my schedule calms down a bit. The first time I played Skyrim, I was a wood elf warrior. Second time through, I was an argonian battlemage with a focus on destruction magic. It's such a fun game. Eventually I'm going to shell out the money for the DLCs.
I've been picking away at DLC. So far I've enjoyed putting dozens of, pasty, poncy, pretentious vamps right out of commission. Go Dawnguard!

I want Dawngaurd mainly for the crossbow but $20 is a bit much for me to swing right now :(.
Indeed. No DLC is worth $20. I snagged mine for 10$ during a sale some months back.
