Just to ask other players how they feel about other cards and where they would use them, etc. I personally want mor opinions on {Omniscience} since my friends think the ten mana is a waste. Just concider how many spells you can play each turn. Anyways, what do you guys want to find uses for?
There are deck with it I have one
Use it much?
The deck isn't based around it though it is the only way I can play any thing from my hand.
Me too, deck not centered around it, but I use it as much as I can.
Anyways, what do you have a question about?
{Omniscience} is great when you can do something to put it into play without paying for it. {Show and Tell}, for example. I use it my {Jhoira of the Ghitu} EDH as a very fun card to suspend.
Here's what I want to know. Why is {Voice of Resurgence} so damned expensive/good? Yeah, it's good, and gives you a big advantage against decks with a ton of instants (namely blue), but $40-50 good? I just don't see it. I feel like {Skylasher} is more useful in more situations against more cards. So is there something about Voice that I'm just not seeing?

Ill bump a deck that {Omniscience} is the card I built the deck around. Placed 14th at an IQ with it. It's called Solar-Flare Omni.

I agree, possibly a 20 dollar card at most IMO, it's not defining the format at all, it can sometimes be a hassle to deal with can be dealt with.

Voice is greate because it's really rare or really valuable to Selesnya players, I guess. Just seems logical.
Show and tell is GREAT with omniscience, though. Just wish it was from, like, 2014 core set.
I hope voice drops a bit....almost feel like I should have preordered OnE when it was $20 or so
I just need ONE to complete my set.....
Voice reminds me of {Wurmcoil Engine}. You play it on turn 2, you're going to get 2 3/3s more than likely. That being said, I still like {Wurmcoil Engine} more :P

{Omniscience} + {Enter the Infinite} is a Johnny/Timmy combo as old as the cards themselves. It becomes decidedly effective when you draw your entire deck - keep about 3 {Psychic Spiral} and 4 {Render Silent}/ {Counterflux}/<insert counterspell here>. You discard down to your minimum handsize on your next turn and mill them out with Spiral.
Bant does pretty good (if you want to go spike), {Farseek}, {Urban Evolution}, {Fog}, {Sphinx's Revelation} into an {Omniscience} - you can also {Alchemist's Refuge} on their endstep (for extra shame) and upkeep {Enter the Infinite} for a win. Plays in a similar way to Fognibor (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=21392.msg180344) (which is my current MTGO deck).
Unfortunately the rise of uncounterable {Sire of Insanity} does nearly destroy this deck - {Increasing Ambition} finds your {Omniscience}, the flashback finds {Enter the Infinite}, but it requires extremely heroic efforts on your part to do it. Main board removal is becoming a must for turbo fog decks.
I run the deck pretty consistently, it used Refuge to endstep {Door to Nothingness}. And luckily {Sin Collector} does not eat the combos alive. It has some potential to go rogue, I went 2-3 in an online Standard Daily with it. I feel like if I was a better player, and didnt play "on tilt" as much as I do, I would have won more games. But such is competitive play, I'm making great strides every day from playing so much.

Play it like a reanimater and {Obzedat's Aid} it.
{Obzedat's Aid} runs into {Sin Collector}/Junk reanimator FAR too much. Those decks are just better then Omni-decks. Junk Rites is actually just a better deck, so plugging in Omni-combos and things is profoundly ineffective.
Jund is a better deck, Naya/Gruul aggro is a better deck, USA is a better deck. Turbo fog is better then Junk Rites consistently, but the {Obzedat Aid}/Modified Omni-Rites deck isn't as good.
We've been rambling about omniscience. What do you guys want to say here?

That Jund is the best deck in the format, and punishes every other deck in a way that is nearly impossible to counteract? It's also the most expensive deck in Standard at the moment.
If you're casual, or play for low-stakes, {Omniscience} is a playable deck.

I want to say more about {enter the infinite}. As long as Dudecore is talking johnny/timmy how about {laboratory maniac}? Play a {fleeting distraction}. Yay!
I'm going to go build a {U}{G} urzatron deck right now!
That is a boss find, as long as you have draw spells.

{Laboratory Maniac} is certainly a win condition for Omni-Infinite decks. I prefer the {Psychic Spiral}, it's instant speed, it can be done on your opponents endstep to assure victory. Sorcery/Creatures scare me, especially if for some crazy reason they make you draw a card without any cards in your library (I don't know of anything that actually does this).
The competitive player in me says Instant speed win conditions are superior to their alternatives.
{Show and Tell} {Omniscience} then cast {Enter the Infinite} then play {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn} then play {Fervor} = good game!

{Sign in Blood}
^ good call. {Sign in Blood} plus the death of your {Laboratory Maniac} is certainly not outside of the realm of possibility. It is also fairly unlikely, still would rather hedge my bets with Spiral.

The Spike in me agrees. But the Johnny is just too loud for me to hear any kind of reason.

I could not approve of this strategy more.
I wish one day Spikes and Johnnies could be friends. Most of my friends are Johnnies, I hate when they play competitive and get angry at losing. Isn't that the un-Johnny thing to do? They blame the cards that spikes play, but not the cards they play...
Whatever. I'm a major Spike (except for EDH) so I guess I will never really understand it. I'm obsessed with playing perfectly, (I am sure there is a subtype of Spike I am) and don't mind losing as long as I play perfectly.

Probably wouldn't be the best if you had {Enter the Infinite} run into {Force of Will}, or Storm/Dredge/Countertop didn't even let you play. Legacy can be pretty mean sometimes :(
Too many decks, it's hard to meta-game against anyone. But you can always rest assured FoW will ruin your day.

Well, you needn't cast EVERYTHING in your library.
You can force of will their force of will or better yet {Gitaxian Probe} before you start the combo

Why would you not want to cast your whole library?
Maybe you have things that could hurt you like counter or even give your opponents a mill win.
