It looks like the results are back!

I'll let you all discuss away. I'm just going to sit back and let the "Of course WotC let a Commander-dedicated player make a card" comments post themselves.
P.S. I voted for land.
I like the card. I think decks could be made around it rather easily, assuming the CMC isn't ridiculous.
I'm happy with it, I want to build a killer deck with it when it comes out and will enjoy MBC all the more for it
We all know that this card will have some CMC like 5-7
Unless wizards is nice ( And let's face it they probably won't be ) I expect a high CMC for this card.
Same as consuming contract if that was the pick.
There is a green enchantment in M14 that looks a lot like this and costs 6. That sounds about right for this power level. Besides green and black tend to have similar mana costs for various levels of power. Green because you can ramp so much that the high power cards have to be expensive and black because you have to work/ give up a lot to enjoy the true power of black.
Kaleo is right, it would balance the card at the higher mana cost, but it wouldn't be hardly as effective.
When will this card be printed? If it is soon we will have crypt ghast to help ramp to it too
I'm not even nervous about the CMC, I just don't want them to drastically change the abilities.
I would love a 5CmC for this card.

I'm pretty sure it's being printed in Theros.
I'm hoping its at 4cmc probably something like {1}{B}{B}{B} and possibly at a rare slot. Making it hard to spash into other decks keeps with it's theme, not too expensive it can actually synergize and combo well with liliana of the veil, and will possibly see some play time in mono black control.
If its 5 or 6 (or greater) it will most likely be at uncommon (or common) and will rarely ever see constructed play. Limited though it would still be awesome, especially in multiples.

I'm pretty sure this is a Rare.
I'll never play it if it's above 4CMC. Cool card though.
I'm underwhelmed, honestly. Someday I might get bored and make a casual {Liliana's Caress}/{Megrim} deck with it included, but I'm pretty sure I'll never use this card seriously.
Even at {1}{B}{B}{B}, this card will be a game changer. You can splash red or blue with it and force your opponent to loose card advantage while you gain field advantage. This will definitely be a rare if not mythic, assuming they do or nerf this card. I even think its sweet at
{3}{B}{B}!
Just my opinion though.
I could handle 3{B}{B}, but then again only as a 1 of. Nothing very cool or exciting like {crucible of worlds}
Id think under $5 unless printed 2{B}{B}, possibly even jank.. But who knows, idk shat
First of lets remember that effects like {Reforge the Soul} and {Whispering Madness} have become a little more common place in card design. 4 cmc would break the format if any one of those effects were available. 5 at mythic and 6 at rare seem reasonable. We cant expect another crucible especially when that was the only truly great card from the YMTC series.

That is exactly why I think this card could be a house.
Ha! Too true, and here I was thinking all mono colored.
Better get your playsets of those cards now!
