Useful for one turn but still useful. Stops those aura stacks and counters on said hexproof

Mono blue combo so hold a counter for after it's bounced, and it cheap and repeatable. Could always put {echoing truth} on an {Isochron Scepter}. Hmmmm shoulda put that in the original post.

Doesn't work against hexproof

It does cause you are not targeting the hexproof creature.

Okay so I take it this does not mean a creature such as {geist of st. Traft}.
You're talking more about creatures given hexproof by cards like {avacyn's mask}?

Nope it works. He changes the name of his name change card, to giest of s.t. Then targets his own and gets rid of them both (all)
Tho, technically he wouldn't need to play the instant because of the legendary uniqueness rule.

But it says return target nonland permanent, which means you have to target the hexproof which you can't do....

Say you have a {Sacred Wolf} and i have {____}. Ill use its ability to change its name to Sacred Wolf. Ill target my {_____} now Scared Wolf with {Echoing Truths} anything named Sacred Wolf back to thier hand. It bypasses hexproof since i dont target your Sacres Wolf
