This has been a fun deck to play so far. There would be more dual lands if I had them.
{undying evil} would be interesting in this deck, you could force {vexing devil} on the field, or use it on creatures you sac to the {bloodthrone vampire}.
I like that idea. I also like waiting to cast vexing after I have a blood artist or two out. Most likely they will let me keep him, and then I will put dying wish on him and sac him anyway if I need to. But giving him undying.... I will it out.
Go one better and use {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} :)
I have been thinking about adding him and some crypt ghasts for some ramp... Thanks for the input, I think the last two post are going to help me make a deck that will annoy my friends even more.
I added undying evil and it has worked great with the vexing devil.
Though, after looking into some rules, it may not be as effective as I first thought. With different timing I think it could still be cool.

Yeah I was bummed when I found out you couldn't add {undying evil} to the stack after they chose to take the 4 damage too, would be such an awesome combo otherwise
I don't know if you disregarded my suggestion because of the 3 black in the cost or if you weren't sure of its interaction with the {vexing devil}
So when {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} is on the field, and you play {Vexing Devil}, he enters as a 5/4 with undying. (No stack necessary)
Now most people would go, I need to deal with that but allowing it to die is probably not helpful. So paying the life as a free removal is not a great option. (As it would come back as a 6/5 and again present the option of having it die for 4 life - I would definitely do this for the second one)
If it does get to hang around, it's a crazy good beat stick anyway.

Wow, totally didn't piece that together there for some reason, that is amazing! And it's been sitting in front of my face for all this time, +1 to you sir

Not necessarily right with the undying.
If they pay the life to kill it, that's their answer to casting. He doesn't hit the board that way, thus mulling the undying effect. He would have to hit the board to get the undying effect.

No, I'm sorry this is false information. "Enter the battlefield" event triggers happen at the exact time that the creature hits the battlefield (or becomes a creature and is no longer a summon creature spell)
603.6a (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=603.6a): Enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger when a permanent enters the battlefield. These are written, "When [this object] enters the battlefield, . . . " or "Whenever a [type] enters the battlefield, . . ." Each time an event puts one or more permanents onto the battlefield, all permanents on the battlefield (including the newcomers) are checked for any enters-the-battlefield triggers that match the event.
And then to explain why it has undying from mikaeus, it is just something that is so about all non human creatures you control. And vexing is one of them
603.6b (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=603.6b): Continuous effects that modify characteristics of a permanent do so the moment the permanent is on the battlefield (and not before then). The permanent is never on the battlefield with its unmodified characteristics. Continuous effects don't apply before the permanent is on the battlefield, however (see rule 603.6e).
Example: If an effect reads "All lands are creatures" and a land card is played, the effect makes the land card into a creature the moment it enters the battlefield, so it would trigger abilities that trigger when a creature enters the battlefield. Conversely, if an effect reads "All creatures lose all abilities" and a creature card with an enters-the-battlefield triggered ability enters the battlefield, that effect will cause it to lose its abilities the moment it enters the battlefield, so the enters-the-battlefield ability won't trigger.
I am still wanting to work in mikaeus. I just need to work some things around to make him fit. Even if he doesn't work out with vexing the way I would like, he will have good synergy with the rest of the deck.

Perhaps remove the slumlords and a bonfire for 1 Mikaeus and 2 {rakdos keyrune} or {rakdos cluestone} to help you ramp into him?
