Personally i really like  {Exquisite Blood}, so if this was mine i'd drop one  {Sign in Blood} and throw one more in to make 3/3. Increases the odds of landing the infinite combo.

Also, give thought to  {Crypt Ghast}. Wonderful card in any matchup.

I agree and disagree with slenderbro. Although it evens the odds of the infinite combo, sign in blood gets you a really good card advantage. So i say keep the sign in bloods and test it. Test slenderbros idea also, sounds good but I personally like sign in blood better

And if nothing, then sideboard.

Roger that! I will try both routes and let you know how they test. I was also thinking of throwing {crypt ghast} in there for a huge debt, just not sure what would be good to remove for him.

I say 2 vizkopa guildmages.

{Cryptgast} will make it easier to cast {Griselbrand}.

Crypt ghast is black's ramp. I find it essential in anything that's bw. Think of it like an arbor elf, absolutely necessary in a good mono green, as crypt ghast is to black.

2 guildmages because they are better as a 2 of, not a 4 of. Keep high priests because they can kill there bombs simply by attacking.

Instead of 2 of your guildmages, I recomend trying out {Chalice of Life}. It's great as a wincon, especially since you have rhox faithmender. In fact, I might even test it as a 3 or 4-of.

Forgot about that, yesssssss totally agree. It's fantastic with extort-oriented creature bases.

Ya know I've had the chalices and elixirs bouncing around my make-shift sideboard since I put this together, good advice, time to give 'em a try! Only thing is without the guildmages, I feel their would be more profitable cards than {exquisite blood} to run, suggestions or opinions?

Personally I'm not a big fan of {Exquisite Blood}. It costs a decent amount and then requires you to play cards for it to even do anything. I'd say drop it altogether, because with it in you have 7 (or 8, if you run 3 Exquisites) 5 drops. With no mana ramp at all that means that you'll be waiting until turn 6 at the earliest for {Exquisite Blood} to even do anything. Replace it with {Crypt Ghast}, hell, I'd run 4. Especially if you want to run {Griselbrand}. As of right now the only reasonable way of casting {Griselbrand} that I can see is a turn 2 {Sign in Blood}, when your on the draw, after no mulligans, AND didn't play a turn 1 card, taking you to 8 cards and ditching Grisel EOT so you can {Unburial Rites} him. Which is a ridiculous far stretch. If this doesn't happen your hardcasting that guy, on turn 8 at the earliest, assuming you miss absolutely no land drops. If you aren't going to run {Crypt Ghast} I'd drop {Griselbrand} altogether. {Crypt Ghast} would go well in here also because of extort. He'll give you a 2 point swing every time you cast something after you play him. Extort is also pretty good with {Rhox Faithmender}, gain 2 life for every 1 that they lose.

And you're running {Debt to the Deathless}??? Dude! {Crypt Ghast}, all day er-day!

Except, er, gah, idk. This deck needs to be a lot closer to mono-black for the Ghast to be cozy in here. Check your deck, is it heavier white or black? If black, check how much heavier. Count the cards that are both White and Black as null. Check what the white to black ratio is and then adjust the swamps and plains accordingly.

Edit: Try this, add {Crypt Ghast}, then change the basic land ratio to 10 Swamps, 5 Plains.

Thanks for the detailed post, ill give the {crypt ghast} a try as well as alter my land base!

The ghast works great especially with  {Godless Shrine} you tap two and the rest of your mana goes to X with  {Debt to the Deathless}

Yeah, essentially every time you tap a {Godless Shrine} you add white with the shrine and you get both colors.

Updated! {crypt ghast} and one more {griselbrand} sideboard for mid-range match ups, otherwise found the ghast to be inaffective for the most fact, just doesn't have a big enough effect when it hits the board. The charm and {tragic slip} for removal and to return {doomed traveler} to the field in a pinch. {chalice of life} was amazing vs. control matchups, still not sure if it should be SB game 1 though. Finally, the guildmage and {exquisite blood} removed entirely. as much as i love the infinite combo, its just not reliable enough, and more oftenthan not the guildmage was used as a chump blocker and {exquisite blood} ended up being a pretty dead draw. As usual, any and all feedback is more than welcome!

Go junk for  {Thragtusk} he is way to good to not be included right beside  {Blood Baron of Vizkopa}
