4 members of Rogue T3ch will be playing in Montana over the weekend.
Danny O, one of the team's original 3 will be taking his rogue aggro that many local players have copied and some articles are circulating on.
Cody S, a newer magic player who is among the sharpest people I have ever known. He enjoys various versions of control and does a great job of building on his own. He called me last night and picked my brain on control for about an hour. He isnt applying everything I said, but he is smart enough to succeed in his own rite rather than my foot steps.
Casey, kinda fringe from the group do to work schedule but serves as Cody's usual tech buddy. He's cooking up some midrange aggro that Ill take a look at later.
Finally since Brent couldn't make it work with his schedule I have stepped up and will be filling that 4th seat in the car. You can probably guess what I am playing to insure the best results.
I wont get any more specific on decks until we are heading back home in case any of you are trying to get an upper hand in competition against us.
Lucky you. The PTQ closest to me doesn't occur till July 7th.
Good luck
May the force be with you
Good luck man!
Well didnt do too well. I played against one deck that was not jund midrange. I was so burnt on playing against jund that I mostly stopped caring about shooting for top. Buddies got some good experience though. No one made it to top 8 but we are out eating sushi right now, so we still walk away winners.
Yeah Jund mid is pretty sick. I get about a 50/50 with my Aristocrats v2 but its still a hard match unless I pull {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad} pretty early. Did you still rock your Esper deck?
Yup but I wasnt playing at 100% from the beginning. Two major events back to back with hard control is exhausting.
Is this a PTQ or a GP or what?
PTQ.
The groups next event out of town for Rogue T3ch will be Modern Masters in Vagas.

I'm honestly really jealous that I don't have a group to go to events and stuff like you do. I've got a friend that goes to events. Just one lol. Good luck though!
It's hard work both finding and proving yourself to other players enough to make a team. It takes drive and dedication, but most important is trust. Cody brought up a good point in the car; he said he is comfortable leaving his entire collection at anyone's home within Rogue T3ch. That kind of trust is an absolute must, without it you cant truly focus on bettering yourselves.
On a similar note, we talked to Cody and Casey and got the team count up to a solid 7. Our goal is 8, but Cody says his brother Austin is in as well which would make 8.
