Your opponent forfeits after trying to murder you for making him watch you durdle for 20 minutes.

I lol'd when I saw rapeshot on the card list.

I like how people are trying to make this deck as thing again. :)

You don't need mainboard needles, you need sideboard {Echoing Truth}. Also side 4 {Leyline of Sanctity} and consider playing a single {Bitter Ordeal} main. That or {Disciple of the Vault}. I literally bought the old version of this deck the day before Second Sunrise was banned. That was a sad day.

Lolololol I just noticed it says {Rapeshot}

Disciple isn't banned in Modern. I just checked the official ban list.

The leyline doesn't help with relic, it was just another suggestion. It keeps your hand from getting manipulated by stuff like {Duress} or {Thoughtseize}. It also keeps Burn from hitting you in the face, among many many other things. (Slaughter Games for example. Yes?)

But yeah, Bitter Ordeal is the real deal (pun not intended). I used it in my eggs deck as a {Research // Development}} target. (Ordeal was in my side, so I used Research to pick it out in case I needed it, among other things, like a tool box sideboard.)

Lol well it's not as good now because there's no second sunrise, but it's still decent and you might find some cards you like. I'll see about sending you a PM, alright?

EDIT: actually I ended up deleting my list because I was mad about SS being banned. Sorry. But those are the best suggestions I have for you. Aside from maybe {Noxious Revival}, because it allows you to just crack your eggs and not worry about possibly not drawing a sunrise effect, it just lets you fill your hand.

That is an impressive bump...

So why not {Faith's Reward}? Seems strictly better.

Edit: I'm blind.

So if the opponent drops a Leyline of sanctity does this deck just fold?

This one, yes. The one that runs {Krark-Clan Ironworks} that rolls into {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}, not so much.

To add to this, I dislike this version because Leyline ruins it. I like the idea of most Egg decks, but it doesn't have a ton of protection. All it takes is to counter one Sunrise and your momentum stops. You need to wait until the opponent is tapped out and if they're a smart player, and realize what you're running, they're gonna keep a counter ready for when you go to combo.

I kinda wanna build the Krark clan ironworks one in paper. Just not sure how big of a waste of money it'd be. Lol

Seems like it'd be difficult if you have all your facts in the grave and not much board presence if they counter your faith rewards the turn prior. I mean it seams like your hand would be pretty much done.

{open the vaults} doesn't care which turn though.

Ahhh that's true I though it was the same as sunrise and reward, my bad! How's this version running for you Taysby?

Haven't played it in over 2 years, but it usually comboed t4-5. You need t3 for an anvil

Yah the anvil hitting seems like it'd be pretty awesome
