Super impressed with woodlot, he even lets me turn aggro against Jund and punish them for slowing down their play to achieve a better position.

Hey man, I play a little esper control myself. Just out of curiosity, when do you side in {Geist of saint traft}? I have him and might consider doing so as well, just looking for a reason why.

Enemy control mostly, as shown here.

In general they take too long to stabilize and keep slower hands against other control decks. I will also side him in against decks that have zero intention of blocking like bant auras (in which case he is also a "legend blade" which is my term for "doom blade" that kills target legendary). Some slower junds have trouble with him, {blood baron of vizkopa}, and {woodlot crawler} after they sided out most their removal. They have to roll {liliana of the veil} down instead of up which is so much better for you.

Also in control on control your opposite generally sides out non target removal for negates and other cards that can't effectively answer Geist. So it is a curve ball and a slap in the face for your opponents. So going into game three you can side them out while your opponite may reside in anti- Geist cards.
