This sect was mainly built for life gain through lifelink or extort. The problem with some things in the suggested,  {Crypt Ghast} (except for extort) has nothing overly exciting.  {Sin Collector} is for hand control.  {Dutiful Thrull} is easy to go over with flying, trample, even sacrifice. I only have one.  {Blood Baron of Vizkopa} . {Alms beast} with either  {vizkopa guildmage} or  {Gift of Orzhova} is a terror. This is off of what I posses now.

What I would switch out for  {Alms Beast} would be  {Rhox Faithmender}
