I thought bolas was a good planeswalker, and between him and prince of thralls, I've tried many times to build a grixis deck, but it has never been as successful as I would've liked. I need a lot of help, as I have no where to start accept knowing nicol bolas, planeswalker kicks butt. Anything that helps would be great
The problem with {Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker} is getting him on the table in the first place. You need mana fixing/accel and delay tactics, stall/control.
I have a {Nicol bolas, Planeswalker} deck posted far back in casual that can get him on the board pretty quick. Two cards help a lot {nightscape familiar} and {dark ritual}. I have since then modified the deck and it runs even better. It is one of the funnest decks and it is so cool to drop bolas on the board.
