Title: Artifact creatures.
Post by: Destore117 on May 12, 2013, 01:53:28 AM
Just trying to be sure. Artifact creatures count as Artifacts for abilities like the Affinity For Artifacts
So lets say I have 3   {Omega Myr}
Then I play  {Tooth of Chiss-Goria}
The Tooth would cost 0 mana correct?

Absolutely! Artifact creatures have the advantage/disadvantage of counting as both Artifacts and Creatures, for any effects or abilities that apply to either.

Ok thanks cuz I was slightly startled if those didn't count as artifacts. Then my new Myr cards that also have the ability Affinity For Artifacts would be useless.
That feeling when you find a Stache of your brother's old Mirrodin cards when cleaning your room ^-^

No problem! But I am curious, why would your new Myr cards be useless?

Edit: I feel dumb, nevermind. I got it now lol

Because a few of them are rather hefty hefty hefty when it comes to Mana cost.
And since my deck is largely based on extortion mechanic. That is not allowed.
