Yup I was able to grab everything you could want for an esper reanimator deck. Including {Nemisis of Reason}, many amazing board wipes, {Grave Titan}, and a {Emrakrul, the Aeons Torn}. Not to mention a {Show and Tell}!
It was four people so we broke off into 2 vs 2, then champ vs champ, loss vs loss. Here were some matches.
First match:
I played against a B/W control.
To my surprise I lost this round, granted I would say this was misnamed due to the fact that there were 5 planeswalkers in that deck of forty. I would say that I got a bad draw both times, because it was.
Second Match:
R/G aggro:
I got creamed first round due to his amazing draw power of {Stromkirk Noble}, a goblin that puts a 1/1 goblin ETB and when it dies. And it had Echo. He then played {Hellrider} which I {Path to Exile}d. But I still lost turn 5.
Game two of that: my turn 1 was an {entomb} searching up a {Grave Titan}. {Animate Dead} was turn two. Turn three was {Ajani Pridemage} 2nd ability. He scooped.
Game three: same thing on turn 2 {Demonic Tutor}, into {Show and Tell} turn three.
Match 3: the all-time winner called me over and we played.
He was playing a very rapid elves with a {Koziek, Bucherer of Truth}.
Game 1: I played lands while he got big with things like {Elvish Visionary} and that artifact creature that draws when it dies, {Solemn Sicrulate} (I don't know), {Fauna Shamen}, and {Jouria Treespeaker}. I went turn 3 {Show and Tell} into Emrakrul. He scooped.
Game 2: It was full of action. I forgot most of it, but I won after he wiped the board, and I used {Rise from the Grave} into {Grave Titan}.
Overview: I acually tied for overall wins/loss. (4/2). It was fun, and the cube didn't push anything, I just got lucky. I'll play it again. :)
