I'm pretty sure I love potato soup way more than you do, good sir.
And we're going to have to have our mothers battle for the title of "Best potato soup" ;)
Tater and Leek soup! Those Brits got it right there!
... This could get ugly...

I'm gonna take my tiny green trees and leaf before it gets too creamy in here
Ya know, creamy just doesn't work there lol

Yeah, that sounded pretty awkward...
New England Clam Chowda (chowder)
Did someone say its going to get... Creamy? ;)
Split pea
Cream of mushroom
Well then
Bacon soup
My FATHER makes the best potato soup.
Thus proving men can cook. Sometimes....
Favorite soup? Going to have to go with Delicious. 😏
No soup for you!

Awww, whitedrake is busting out the grandma, not fair!
Nonetheless, it seems we have a battle royale in the making here. International even!
Keyeto, you can bet that it is fair enough...:D
If battle then of course I have to use most poweful weapons..:D
And if there will be any objections to the quality of my grandma's potato soup, I am quite sure it could cause some international affair...:D
Edit: I think USA diplomats were never expelled from Norway... But if you touch my grandma's soup anything could happen...:D
Haha, I can see it in the news now, whitedrake:
"USA citizens cause uproar in Norway over heated potato soup debate. International relations seem strained. The culprits? A few guys who play MtG, that thought their respective family's potato soup was the best."
Ok ill settle this each of you send me a bowl of your soup.
@Keyeto I am sure that after that kind of news in TV, people would be striking in front of American Embassy in Oslo...:D
@Rass if it would take just as long to deliver as my last trade then you would not enjoy it that much I guess...:D and am not sure how custom office in USA would be comfortable with package containing bowl of soup...:D
Edit: Anyway +1 for you Keyeto for your last post... :D
Same to you whitedrake, for giving me a good potato soup related laugh. It was much needed!
When I read our debate to my wife, she cried out of laugh...:D
Well, it seems we make quite the comedy team! Glad to be one half of a tear inducing conversation!
White drake. Feel free to pay for speedy shipping. It will add bonus points.
@Keyeto of course I am glad that you "admitted" that my grandma's soup is the best ( or at least you did not disprove it :D )... I guess Norwegian-American relations are saved for now...;)
@Rass that still does not solve custom office in USA and possible countre-strike against little me by anti-terroristic unit...:D
That would be headlines:
Norwegian citizen and his family were detained by US special forces in their house on norwegian countryside, because of sending package containing bowl full of suspicious liquid on American soil... Whole family was moved to NATO anti-teroristic base for further interrogation...:D

You have me cracking up here over this soup stuff. Just imagining this is so ridiculous lol
And as for me "admitting" anything, I have learned one important thing in life: Do not underestimate the powers of a grandmother's cooking. If I must have children to make my mother a grandmother, just so she can compete with your grandmother, I'll do it! This isn't over yet!
Hehe...:) What's that ridiculous about it...? :D That's quite serious thing... America terrorised by norwegian potato soup....:D
Ah Keyeto really... Would like to be there when you will explain to your child how he/ she was conceived... Children are sometimes curious...:D I can vividly imagine that...:
Hey son/ girl,
You know the reason why you were born was potato soup...:D
BTW: That reminds me Red Dwarf serie...:D and Rimmer's Gaspaccio Soup...:D
I can just imagine explaining it to my partner at the time.
"Honey, we need to have children, ASAP."
"Well, this is a bit sudden, why?"
"You see, there's this guy on an app that said his grandmother's potato soup is better than my mother's. Long story short, my mom needs grandkids, now."
This whole ordeal is incredible! :D You guys are awesome lol

If this becomes a lifetime battle, I'm prepared. You win for now, whitedrake ;)
I love soups. So much. I could sit here and list soups for an hour.
Any cream- based soup.
Vegetable-beef.
Chinese soups (Hot&Sour, Wonton...)
Miso soup
Cheddar Leek
Vichyssoise
Cold Cherry & Wine soup (perfect for dessert after Christmas dinner)
I could go on.
Note: if making Hot&Sour soup, do not mistake your yellow box of baking soda for your yellow box of cornstarch... I did this once... There is vinegar in the soup...

Wow... And I thought putting Gumby in the microwave or letting the pressure cooker get to hot made cooking more interesting...
Hot&Sour Science Fair Volcano was both entertaining and delicious.

It's actually not that bad! You actually have better English than some people I know that live here, which is a bit surprising.
Nothing against you, of course. You'd just think that someone born in the United States, that has lived here their whole life, would have decent English. Let's just say this: I've never had a problem understanding what you're saying, at all. I've had some serious trouble understanding some people I know here over the Internet.
Ok that's quite flattering...:) But my grammar is really rusty... :D
Anyway thanks for your kindness, but it still does not change anything about my grandma's soup quality...:D

I just may end up in Norway for a soup comparison by the end of this ;)
Hehe ok... Let me know I will prepare some contest here...:D
Broccoli cheddar, hands down
