Also you could run a discard mechanic from  {Grimoire of the Dead}.
It could also pay off as a decent win con if they can't deal with it.

Not mine sadly =/ My friend Gareth told me about it. The rest of the deck is all me though. I figured out that {Tarmogoyf} scavenges for whatever his * is at the moment as well! Pretty nasty seeing as how he counts himself in the Graveyard 😜

Yeah, it's also good with goyf.
I would play 4 varolz 4 goyf 4 shadow's 4 {Dark Confidant} for the shadow and 4 {Nyxathid}.

The discard is for pure synergy dude, you tear apart their hand with Lilly and Inquisition/{Thoughtseize} and {Grisly Salvage} to usually a Goyf, or a man-land, and throw your other creatures into the yard, setting up Salvage. The discard also make {Nyxathid} a really big threat. The numbers (I think) are perfect. The 4-ofs are exactly where they need to be.

Although this deck could benefit from running Bob, idk what I would even replace, I've tried, it hurts my brain.

Bam. I need to make this now! I need 3 Goyfs still though.

Latest updates. This deck is so suicidal, but I love it!

I have a deck based on the same thing. Check out  {Hunted Horror}. I use  {Lotleth Troll} for discard along with  {Drown in Filth}
It works out pretty well

I prefer {Grisly Salvage} over Drown, although it is a sweet card. And Troll is a big favorite of mine, I run him in Standard, I just have no idea how I would even attempt to slip him in here? As for the Horror, he's a badass, my only beef with him is you can't ever really cast him. Getting rid of his minions is a task and a half.

Well my deck's a bit slower and for casual play. I have 4 mulch and 4 drown in filth with 4 Lotleth trolls and spells to return stuff from the graveyard {vigor mortis}. So getting the horrors in the graveyard is never really an issue.

If I hadn't already started building a different Modern deck, I'd probably I for this...  Looks to be a blast!

I have to drop 1 card... Any suggestions?
