Why the three {selesnya charm}'s?

My recommendation would be to sideboard those and add +1 {rancor} and +2 {boros charm}

Selesnya's charm is awesome. Especially for this deck where the hydra needs to get trample.

It's good for trample but three rancor should do the trick. The {boros charm} is a better all around card for the deck because it can give any of the bombs double strike, and it can get around a {supreme verdict}. It can also be used to the face, if its needed.

Some cards to look into for this deck (that I personally run in my Naya midrange)

{Huntmaster of the Fells} (around 2-3)

{Restoration Angel} (works great with thragtusk or making it so your creature doesn't die)

{Voice of Resurgence} (new card that's been booming lately, amazing card against Aggro/control)

{Domri Rade} (it seems both of our builds runs alot of creatures, this guy is amazing for card advantage, plus using his "pit fight" ability with something like thragtusk and boros wreckner makes him amazing for midrange)

Overall I like your deck, how's the hydra been working for you? I've been really interested to try the card.

The hydra has been doing good for me once I got him out with 8 counters on him and then next turned him into a 14/14 with trample with kessig wolf run

Nice! :) seems like that would work great lol.
{Advent of the Wurm} was another card that I accidentally left out, it's just insane. Especially if you have something like  {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice} out on the field. I've put both in my sideboard for when I come up against another midrange deck, it just becomes too out of had for them :p

The whole point of this deck was that Weldrodson did not want to buy money cards that will rotate out in 4 months...;) And especially Huntmaster is not exactly modern staple to buy it now... Restoration Angel is not exactly other format staple either...

Voice could be good 2 drop but I still am not sure if that card is worth playing in midrange deck...

Selesnya charm is more than trample spell... It is great removal spell... Especialy with Junk reanimator coming bigger again... Honestly I think it is same versatile as Boros charm is...;)

For sideboard, what I personally run Is:

{Centaur Healer} x3 just an amazing card against Aggro.

{Rest in Peace} x2 for obvious reasons :)

{Assemble the Legion} x2 great card in midrange match ups and great against control.

Those are just the ones I enjoy / use the most, great cards overall. Good luck with the deck.

Well if he doesn't want money, whys e have thundermaw?     You need 3  {Arbor Elf}, 1  {Zealous Conscripts}, at least 3-4 {Restoration Angel}.  Oh not to mention  {Bonfire of the Damned} as a 1 of.    And a good card is that green enchantment where you draw a card if you have the most powerful creature on the board.

Exiling 5 power or greater is very significant as well.
