{Voice of Resurgence}... Is it just me or is this card art just weird? For some reason it really gets to me. It's the sole reason why I'm not a huge fan of this card. Just looking at it, idk what it is, I just don't like it. There's just not enough color or something. There's too much going on in this shades-of-green guy and it really takes away from what the card should look like. I think it should be a little more than just two colors.
Yeah it's a bit awkward. Maybe it looks incredible as a foil?
I like the art its really happy colored
Personally I love the art. To me it's natures last sentinal, and based on his ability that discription seems to fit. He's an elemental, so I like how ethereal he looks, like the forest conjured it up itself as a last cry of defiance. I dunno I certainly enjoy the art on him.
Better get used to it, you're gonna see it hitting the table for more then a year.
Every time I look at this card, I imagine it standing outside my window, just staring at me. Pretty creepy lol.

Standing. Staring. Watching. The hot air from his nostrils meets the chill of the glass window and creates a fog. With each slow, heavy breath, you see the spot of fog appear and start to fade away. He then slowly steps away from the window and merges with the night air, only to become a wisp of wind that lovingly licks your neck the next morning when you leave your house.

Also note that most red decks are running {Pillar of Flame}. At least 2 copies anyway. I always have it in my Geist deck because of {Gravecrawler} shenanigans. And in essence, she's just a hate bear. All new bears are over hyped for a time. In addition, when I'm playing my esper control, I don't mind leaving you with a 1/1 after a wipe. I can clear that up easily enough with {Azorius Charm}
I think the reason that people can't put their finger on is that the art is a big hunk deer man in-yo-face kind of art, and it's just a 2-drop. Feels like at least a 3 drop, looking at soley the art.

Lol it just creeped me out when I finally realized the broken one was staring at me! Same goes for {Blood Artist} and {Angel of Serenity}.
