So I have out 3 {zhur-taa Druid}s. If I tapped one for mana, would the other ones effect trigger for a total of 3 damage? Because "zhur-taa" is tapping for mana.
In short, no. When a permanent refers to itself by name it means "this card". If {zhur-taa Druid} stated "if a {zhur-taa Druid} taps for mana, deal 1 damage to target opponent" it would work.
Since mana burn no longer exist may I tap for mana even if I don't cast spells?
Yes and you don't have to use it. Basically use him as a 2 cc pinger.

My lady pointed out that {zhur-taa Druid} and {curiosity} in a multiplayer game is quite powerful. This coming from little miss {Niv-Mizzett} doesn't surprise me that she spotted the synergy. Wow. I've been playing for a while but even I missed that one. {animar, soul of elements} decks rejoice!
