I think I may have to many discard cards, and not enough creatures. Plus I want to remove 4-5 cards. Also I plan on getting a Lilliana in there as well. Any advice is appreciated.

Did a couple of games the other night, and I think I need to take out some discard, and replace with a few more small creatures, and some of the target player draws 3 loses 3 life. That way they have cards in their(there?) hand.
{sign in blood} and {Necropotence} are good for card drawing and cheaper to cast than the card you are referring to.
Added a tutor, 3 {signs in blood} {Lilliana Vess} and 2 {curse of oblivion}
Def use hymn to tourach and take out the unholy strength
