Title: Sky Swallower, Mistmeadow Witch
Post by: izik99 on May 05, 2013, 10:39:21 PM
In commander (where you'd have enough mana to do this) could you exile all your creatures with  {Mistmeadow Witch} and then play {Sky Swallower}, giving them control of only lands, then have your creatures come back?

As long as you do it before your creatures come back, yeah. You're good to go! That's some serious mana though lol

{Legion's Initiative} would work better. Only two mana in a USA deck RW and the sky swallower gives them your lands. But why would you want to do that?

You should board wipe non land permanents, tap land for the dude, tap extra mana before it resolves so you can play a mass return to field play AFTER it resolves.

They get nothing, maybe land depending on your wipe spell

If you have it {Sudden Disapearance} would work well in the same manner.  Also you could play it before or after sky swallower's trigger resolves.
