How does this card work?!? So many of the new cards are confusing
Easy. It can block EVERY attacking creature and gets a boost from each block
{Guardian of the the Gateless}
I just want to throw in that this card is SO handy and WAY under rated. It has saved me and/or kept me alive more times than I can count.
Didn't it come out only a few months ago??? How high can u count?
Attach a {Holy Mantle} to it :)

Or have it out with {Avacyn, Angel of Hope}, really shuts a game plan down.

Not very high, quality public education.
So does it block them individually or all at once?? How would the damage work?

It only gets +1/+1 when it blocks, no matter how many creatures it blocks. The card says when ever it blocks, it gets a boost, not for each creature it blocks.

It blocks them all at once, first all the first strike and double strike creatures deal damage, then the normal combat damage. The attacker decides what blocking creatures his do damage to, and you decide how to distribute your 4 damage to all the creatures it blocked.

On the card is written: for each creature it's blocking.
Very underrated

I could be wrong about this, but I think your wrong, I read it as getting +1/+1 for each creature it's blocking. Worse case combat damage happens all at once therefore it can block all attacking creatures, probably dying in the mean time, but hopefully taking a few down in the mean time.

It explicitly says +1/+1 for each creature.

Oops, excuse me. Ok, this card is really powerful.
To veer away from standard, throw a {Basilisk Collar} on her. Hee hee
