Definitely not an original idea but I found this build and realized not only do I love it but I had most all the cards already for it so I was thrilled to throw it together. Works very well so far. Just looking to shore up its weaknesses I suppose

In place of what though? Gift of orzhovas?

Don't bother with {Unflinching Courage} until rotation bro.
Also - REMOVE THOSE GUILDGATES!
Duels are strictly better, if you don't have enough duels, just sub in basic land.
Oh and one the mana base is sorted out (more shock lands), I'd say drop the pilgrim and add  {Arbor Elf}. More versatile with the shocks

I kind of decided same thing racking my brain about it with the unflinching courage. Only reason I'm usin the pilgrims is for turn 2 Geist or loxodon. Would it be viable to do 2 of each? 2 pilgrim and 2 arbor elf? And yeah my plan is to buy or trade for the dual side lands when I get to the card shop lol. Didn't realize I put them in this post. Thank you :) also looking for a little advice on sideboarding, I have plenty of ideas on if I'm going against an aggro but what should I side board if I'm playing control?

You might put {Rootborn Defenses} in your side.  Good combat trick with {Geist of Saint Traft}, and saves your critters from {Supreme Verdict}.

Agreed, I've run the Geist-Rootborn-Perma angel combo. Very effective. Very situational though.

I agree also. Hate to do all that work and run into a {Supreme Verdict} or {Mizzium Mortars}

Wouldn't  {Safe Passage} be just as effective in countering a  {Supreme Verdict}? So that pretty much covers board wiping but what about if the control deck user is using cards that make me sacrifice my creature that is all enchanted out, such as  {Tribute to Hunger} for example or the other cards like it. Wouldn't sideboarding one drop  {Dispel} be good against that? Or are their sorcerys to worry about? I'm not super familiar with control

{safe passage} would be of no help against {supreme verdict}. It prevents damage, verdict does not deal damage

 {Safe Passage} does nothing against  {Supreme Verdict}...
