Title: Can anyone explain exactly what odric, master tactician does?

He seems too strong. When he controls who blocks and how they block, can't he just have everyone mass block a 1/1 so all your other creatures get a free hit?

Actually, you can choose for no creatures to block if you wish. He's a pretty cool card.
