Worst art ever on a card... {Gift of the Woods} both versions. Was just sorting through my old cards and noticed them.
Yes there is a whole lot of not-great art from 4th edition and earlier but gift just takes the cake for me. Anyone else have terrible art on cards they'd like to share?

but i like the idea of the 2 versions of the gift. It sounds just nice. not a very good illustrator, though
Imo my least favorite card art as of late would be
{sulfur falls} for a dual land im not impressed with its look, while some of the others are soo nice. I think the outter outline should be colored to represent the land type. As in {shimmering grotto} it has gold. I just think lands should have somthing similar.

Umm, the outer outline is red and blue...
I meant where the black border is. I prob coulda been more specific. But i also meant all the lands as well. No borders. Jus all color. Art like {gavony township} Is really nice. Sorry kinda off the topic.
Personally I think 4th edition {Animate Wall} does it for me. I mean look at that chick! She's terrified of the most derpy looking evil wall ever!
I think anything by Rebecca Guay is pretty horrible.

Was just looking up Praetors and saw/rembered {Ebon Praetor}. WTF is up with a giant bunny helping a sacrifice. It looks more like a wedding.
I don't really like {Anger} either. It's just kinda... Bleh.
{Counterspell} has the worst art ever. The jacked bodybuilder woman holding some magic, or the Tempest artwork with the mesmerized Disney wizard. Horrendous

Yeah, I don't get what's supposed to be happening in the 7th Ed one either, but at the the Jace DD one is good.

I know! Jace vs. Chandra is the only good one out of all the counterspell printings. None of them make sense.

{Celestial Prism} artwork is awful, they didn't really try at all. And tempest in general has some bizarre artwork like {grindstone}, {recycle}, {master decoy}

I'd be a fan of his artwork, just not on magic cards. {Dream Cache} (another Tempest) and {Greed} are good works, but dont really fit the game.
By all accounts Legends has some of the strangest/worse art. And it's not a good set...
{Giant strength} 4th edition is the fugliest thing I've seen. I'm pretty sure Napoleon Dynamite drew it.
