Scooped a couple {blood baron of vizkopa} at my lgs today, my BWR vamps deck shall now be complete!

Unless you're playing standard, {Serra Ascendant} is better.

Not true at all. Baron can get you to the conditions, serra will do nothing. If you're playing lifegain you're already losing.
Serra can easily get you to the conditions. It's also insanely broken in EDH.

Serra can easily get you to the conditions. It's also insanely broken in EDH.

Agreed my buddy runs it in his {sen triplets} edh..."Oh, I'll play a 6/6 flying lifelink creature for one white T1". So frustrating lol. But on a seperate note these are for a standard deck so the ascendant unfortunately is not legal :(

Yessir I have! I just jumped into magic tcg for the first time since I was a kid(been playing dotp for years, and decided to switch it up) though, so I figured I'll start in standard for a block or two, build my collection and skills, then graduate to the eternal formats!
