Title: Progenitor mimic
Post by: Jdogtoocool on April 29, 2013, 12:08:11 AM
{progenitor mimic}

If I have the mimic enter the battlefield as a copy of a 4/4 angel will it continue to make copies of itself or is that what the card is saying you can't do?

the original mimic will copy it's self each turn, but the token copies will not,

This so you don't get tokens being made exponentially, like with want happens with other card wotC made.

So to make Clear
The minix will make one copy per turn but it copies will not

If {Progenitor Mimic} enters the battlefield as a 4/4 Angel, at the beginning of each of your upkeeps, as long as you control it, it will pop out another copy of itself, which would be a 4/4 Angel.

The Angel that the Mimic creates is a creature token though, and therefore will not make copies of itself.

And if the original progenitur mimic dies/is exiled, you will no longer be getting tokens
