Selesnya is my first pick, if i cant have it ill go simic. Reason being is those two colors have the best midrange and late game creatures located at common and uncommon. In sealed you can NOT pick based on rares, they are too unreliable and often dont even see play. If you get good and relevant rares thats awesome, but dont make your pick based on what you are least likely to see.

I didn't pick based on rares. I picked because I wanted this guild this time around
Sorry wasnt clear. Im playing 3 releases and unless I learn something different those are are my picks for all three. I will update as the night and tomorrow play out.

Maybe your Simic players were just bad? I played Simic for Gatecrash and went 5-2. Then agains all of my Rares were playable and had a pretty good array of Commons and Uncommons.
I went 3-1 losing to my teammate Dennis in te last round. I picked selesnya and got paired with gruul. I had an amazing card pool.

Nice! I want to pull bad {Lightning Helix}s! They seem rediculous in limited.

Boros for me was a good amount of cards, but nothing to seal the deal against the annoying extort, especially when they usually rakdos/boros cards within their arsenal
I didn't play against any simic, but they came in 2nd.
I had some really bad land droughts my first few rounds and then I cut my deck down immensely and when all the colors aligned, hot damn it was annoying, both offensive and defensively
I was not pleased with Molten Primordial as my rare in my guild pack however.
Crappy pool to build with for the 2nd and 3rd flight, the trades and pulls made up for it. The collection is looking pretty good now after intering it all in this app.
